New Art Exhibit @AIV5700 Gallery for 2009 - Artist Dana Depew
Dana Depew, owner and curator of Asterisk Gallery is the artist featured on exhibit from Jan - Feb at AIV 5700 Gallery. Located on the walls of the Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Cleveland, the 20 + works are colorful, energetic and fill the space with their vivacious patterns. The space is open to the public, free from 9 - 5 pm, Monday thrU Friday at NHSGC in Slavic Village. Free parking & entrance behind the building. Dana is often busy curating shows while holding a full time job and his paintings are often overlooked in the Tremont gallery. The exhibit features over 15 works on found objects, painted thickly and colorful. NHSGS has hosted several solo exhibits to local artists since 2006.
