Tremont ArtWalk, Friday, September 12th, 6pm-8pm

Ohio Canal Corridor is sponsoring the 2nd edition of a special art show – Labor + Industry in Tremont in September. It kicks off on art walk – September 12 and runs through October 4 in the Asterisk Gallery, 2393 Professor Avenue. The show will be open for Tremont Arts & Culture and for the Sparx Art Hop.


Civil War Encampment

Presented by the Tremont History Project in Tremont's Lincoln Park

on September 13th and 14th.

The 8th Ohio Volunteer Infantry is back this year with their re-enactment camp at Lincoln Park.

NEW THIS YEAR:

Re-enactors from Hale Farm & Village who will interact with visitors and discuss events of the year, 1863.

Shooting of cannon over the Flats by the 19th Ohio Light Artillery (near the Civil War plaque), AND

A tour that begins at Lincoln Park (YOU MUST PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS AT LINCOLN PARK - AND, make a reservation beforehand), that takes you to Grays Armory for a tour and to Soldiers & Sailors Monument for a tour, then back to Lincoln Park.
