THE APERTURE opens this weekend
Hey friends! I'm part of a top-secret program at Cleveland Public Theatre that allows me to bestow to my friends discount codes to get tix to CPT shows for only $10!! That's 50% off for some shows!
THE APERTURE opens this weekend. Here's the lowdown:
Cleveland Public Theatre is proud to present the World Premiere of The Aperture, a new play by Sean Christopher Lewis and the inaugural winner of the Rosa Parks Playwright Award. The Aperture takes audiences on a wild journey that explores America's fetishizing of global turbulence, violence and race. The Aperture is the story of a seductive American photographer and her unlikely subject, a former boy soldier from Africa. In this world premiere production, two actors play six parts in an energetic and insightful expose.
Directed by Craig J. George, who wowed critics and audiences with CPT's acclaimed production of M4M, an all-male version of Shakespeare's Measure for Measure.
The Aperture is onstage in the James Levin Theatre from March 14 through March 28 (Opening Night March 14). Please note: The Friday, March 13th preview performance is SOLD OUT
To get your $10 tix--buy as many as you like--follow this, and only this, link:
http://boxoffice.printtixusa.com/cpt/eventcalendar
Choose a showing, then select how many tickets you want. Then, you will be asked to use a Special Code. Mine is 161. When you enter this code your discount will be applied and you'll see my name pop up. Finish your purchase and voila!
I plan on catching the Sunday, March 15 matinee at 3 p.m.--but check out whichever showing tickles your fancy during the entire run, and feel free to forward this offer on to your pals.
Thank you for helping me support Cleveland Public Theatre, which made Cleveland "cool" long before anything else.
